Don't just wear a colour wear a cause

I'm nearing the last of the posts from my favourite mani's from the Nail It challenge.
This one had the theme of hearts.
I combined this theme with the current trend 'Don't just wear a colour wear a cause' which has been circulating the nail community as it is breast cancer awareness month. The designs and awareness created from the huge nail community is amazing and I am glad I can be a part of it. It really shows the positivity that can come from the internet - there are far too many negatives constantly focused on.
The polishes I used for this mani are; Chanel - Ballerina, MoYou, Essie - Madison Ave-Hue, Loreal - Amazon's Flare and Mac - Dark Angel.
The heart created from dots was so much harder than it looks! I'm glad I stuck it out because it looks pretty cute.
And Chanel - Ballerina is probably the most stunning colour I have ever seen and it is so shiny!
A few more designs to come before the big finale of pictures.
Have a happy Monday everyone.

A duty when passing through duty free

It seems to be an increasing habit of mine to ‘just look’ at the chanel polishes when in the airport, when inevitably
i walk away with another polish in my hand. So, as you’ve probably guessed this post shows off my newest chanel beauty. It is Ballerina (167)
With this look I used OPI – nail envy as a base coat and then Kiko - Gel Look Top Coat.
This colour is so gorgeous, it gives such a classic and simple look. If you have longer nails like I do then it looks like a French manicure.
It is a great polish if you want something a little more elegant rather than always having crazy designs us nail addicts are always doing.
I used quite a thick amount of polish to make it a little less opaque and it still dried pretty quickly. I thought I was going to have to sit still for a few hours but I was impressed with drying time. I did two coats yesterday then added another and a top coat today.
The only negative of this mani was a few bubbles on some of my nails. I really don’t know why this happens, I have changed base coat, buffed my nails to make them smooth and nothing works. Please leave a comment if you have any suggestions/having the same problem!

Overall, I am in love with this colour. I have seen it on other nail bloggers nails and I love it just as much on mine.
I am currently in America so bare with if posts are slow!

My first Chanel eeeeek

After years of sneaking into my mum's polish box using her Chanel's I finally got my own!
I have wanted this colour for so long and I found it in the airport so couldn't not. Do you blame me though? The colour is gorgeous.
As you can see it is called May 535, a barbie pink colour. I took a picture both inside and out because natural light changes the colour. I think my nails are getting a little long for me - I don't want to have any horrific breaks, so next post they may be filed short short!
Anyway, it's a good job I'm not going shopping any time soon - I've been looking at the next colour on my wish list!
